Rival Lacrosse and all its affiliated programs mission is to promote and honor the fun game of lacrosse among the youth in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Our staff strives to enhance each player's individual and team skills with a consistent emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play. Teaching life lessons beyond the playing field and recognizing the importance of all players and participation regardless of ability, talent or skill.
Fall Instructional League
The Rival Lacrosse Fall Instructional League for boys and girls will stress the foundation of continuing to build individual skill development and instilling the value of teamwork in an instructional oriented practice and game format. We will work to make sure each individual player accomplishes his or her goals as a player and help lay the foundation of the Rival Spring Play League. Location are offered in Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary, Raleigh and Wake Forest!
Spring Play League
Rival Spring Play League is the Triangle Areas largest and most established community based boy’s and girl’s lacrosse program. Rival Spring League has been the foundation for scholastic based programs for years with grade based teams assembled by current and potential school assignments allowing kids to play with their school friends and future high school teammates. Rival Spring is a ten-week program running from late February through early May with weekly team practices and Saturday morning games.
Rival G-League for high school girls 9th-12th grade. The G-League is an instructional focused play league with the majority of session led by area DI, DII and DIII coaches. Girls with work on technical, conceptual and tactical concepts that will help them be more prepared for the spring high school season. G-League is a six-week program.
Riptide Instructional Camps and Clinics
Riptide Instructional Camps and Clinics provide a fun and safe environment to continue to develop your skills if you are an advanced player or learn the game for the first time. Camp and instructional opportunities will be provided throughout the year. Please visit the Riptide home for current program offerings.
